My pumpkin grew a lot with all the rain that we got. I was surprised that it didn't split. I have a small area that is weeping but other then that no problems. My daily measurments have been the same since the storm. Has my season given me all it has. I have a pumpkin that is taping at the mid 400 lbs. It's in good shape with some cantaloping on the side area and some saglines. Just wondering if the season has given me all it has? It was a good year and I love the sport. thanks for the frendships. Anyone know or could give some input. I have a small theory that the pumpkin may be in a state of shock with all the water that we have had. I'm still keeping the fruit uncovered during the day and tucked in during the cooler nights.

Yes PAP i did and we talked at great length! He's a great guy. He said he'd help me for next year because this year is to late. I wasn't able to see his patch however he lives near to a house that i'll be closing on soon. i think this year i may be done. I just need to find a way to get the hog to freriches farm. Any suggestions?

kenny
you will need

a pallet

some form of padding ontop of pallet.( even some old clothing will do).straw covered with a cheep tarp .etc, also makes adaquate padding.

place pallet in bed of trailor, truck or ?

small pumpkins like yours can be lifted with the help of a few people, a tarp placed under the fruit ( tip the pumpkin from side to side and pull tarp under pumpkin to get pumpkin in position) pick her up and place on the pallet

call mike he may be bringing his trailor to the weigh off and might be able to take yours?
