So worried about splits. The rain here has been nonstop and i'm so worried about splits and weeping fruit. what to do! What to do!

kenny, try to keep the pumpkins dry with tarps. dig channels in the soil around your pumpkins for drainage if needed to keep the pumpkin from sitting in ponding water. then either go get a case of beer or go to the bar and try to forget about it.
that is the best advice i can give you from experience. i have been there myself brother. worrying is ok as long as it leads to productive protective measures and then what ever it is, it is. shazzy

I'm in the same situation Kenny. 3/4 inches so far and 3 more inches expected! Yeesh, after Bill last week, what gives? Anyway bud, keep the faith, can't fight mother nature.

dig a trench across patch and insert sump pump...it is working for me so far...just ask matt debacco...it was his idea
