I had an issue with my stump foaming and lost the stump, the steam had alittle bit of a leak were it meets the main,I bleached it and put a fan on it but I haven't seen much growth in the last five days should I cut it loose and try to save it!or leave it be and hope their is nothing bad going on with the plant ,will bacteria run through a vine?

yes it will run through the vine, and in a hurry, if you dont catch it early enough it will sop growth in a hurry.
Try to find a good spot in the main vine that is healthy and cut it off there. I been growing on half of plants all season long because of Mr Foamy and surprisingly they aren't growing that bad considering the circumstances. If you have it in your stump its not going to heal it self I promise you that.
I'm trying to help put together some research on Mr Foamy Stump and what causes it,if anyone else has had Mr Foamy could you please send me some info on when you first noticed yours happening, soil conditions, weather, day and night time temps, wet year, dry year, soil report,if you have it, how old the pumpkin was and how big the pumpkin was and the kind of pace it was growing at when you first started seeing this foam starting to happen Fungicides/pesticides and fertilizers used, how much organic matter you think you had in your patch at the time and what ever else information you have that you can think of would be helpful. It would be much appreciated, we are trying to find out what EXACTLY causes this.
