I had an extra plant that I wanted to see what would happen with. a Holland 1289 plant. I planted the seedling in a vacated area of my parents house near their giant mulch pile. The plant took off and grew several fruits. I let the plant grow and did nothing to it just to see what would take place. The vines grew up a nearby tree and have pumpkins about 25 lbs hanging or suspended in the air and their is fruits growing on the entire area. Surprisingly enough the plant looks reasonably healthy. lmao!!! After visiting my parents this weekend I had seen a fruit about 100 lbs sitting atop some of the branches...... Gotta love seeing that. After the season I'll hve to knock that fruit down and retrive the seeds!!!! That's one strong plant!!!!lol!!
