i had a pumpkin earmarked to go but she decided to take a dump in the patch.

Official Marshfield Fair results and report...

Well as we all know in the Northeast it has been a difficult growing year and the total entries reflect this. While the event put on by Ray (director at Marshfield) was enjoyable I just wish more growers turned out for the event.

In short summary, there were only two entries (now don’t you wish you brought a pumpkin) and the margin of victory was quite large.

Results...

1st place = 749lb grown by Matthew DeBacco
2nd place= 140lb grown by someone whose name I did not catch (sorry)

We gave out some seeds and information to some potential competition for next year, but when you are part of a Team everyone benefits.
