I'm growing a 991 Urena and it is coming on really nicely. On day 50 it tapes to 337 OTT (est. 804 lbs) and is still making 25+ lb daily gains. Plus it thumps like a rock. Is anyone else growing one and it fo, how is it doing for you?

Still growin strong despite getting hit 4 times with hail.

Started a double vine, salmonish color, thumps really hard, no shoulders but a fat butt. With the small amount of leaves it has entact it still manages to keep growing....I would plant it again if given a chance......

I've noticed the same thing, the plant had very few sunburned leaves verses the other ones. Tolerated the heat very well. The fruit first started out very football/lemmoned shaped then later became more round with a tear drop shape to it. Very nice high shoulders to it. Very light in color, starting to get some salmon color to it.

Last year it grew a 1200 and a 1300 pounder and both were the first 1000+ pounders for either grower. The 1300 pounder was grown by a first time grower. Both were considerably heavy too. I think it is a pretty special seed.

Another thing about that 1300 pounder. It was set at only 9 feet out and had a growing area of only 500 square. Out in California as well I believe.
