Whiz is lying Pete. There are no fish here in Colorado. In fact, I'm not sure Canada has any either. You need to go farther north. Maybe a two or three week trip to the article circle would be best for you. I am sure your pumpkins would be just fine on thier own . . . :)

Stay in CO and go to the Frying Pan River- super Green Drake hatch right now. There's some nice 12-15 lb browns there if you're stealthy enough.

Pete. You cannot get back into the USA without a passport. Canada does not require them.

You CAN GET back into the US without a passport, here's your list of required items:

1) Armored vehcile
2) Suitable diversion for border guards
3) Smoke grenades (sufficient qty for adequate screen)
4) Immigration lawyer if 1-3 do not work

Best regards!

US Border patrol will NOT deny a US Citizen entery back into the US, it is against the law. They will give you the run around if you do not have a PP, but if you have a legit ID and birth cert, they HAVE to let you back in. We've gone around and around with this here in MN, the conscensus is it is easiest and best to have a PP, but it still works withour too. Call the BP at the crossing and check directly.

Check to see if your state offers enhanced drivers licenses. They have it in Washington, it's easier to get than a passport, although still an all day hassle, like anything at the DMV or DOL or whatever they call it in your state. It takes several forms of ID to get. My wife did it a couple months ago for a visit to Canada with her aunt. US customs still questioned her coming back, since she being middle aged, was the youngest woman on a bus full of little old ladies. That's as sinister looking a group as you'll ever find.

bjx2...your border guards can and will do anything to anybody they want to at any time they wish....they can refuse you entry cause they don't like the colour of your hair.

As I was told at a border crossing recently "its not your right to enter the United States...its a priviledge"....and that is what they told a bunch of tourists going on a camping trip with pockets full of money to spend.

Pete, without a passport you run the risk of getting hassled and then you will be "profiled" and every time you enter or leave your country...you will be hassled again!
