I was talking to Brian at RTI and he mentioned they have a product that protects against deer and gophers called "Continuem". It does not look like a guaranteed solution but works more as a deterent. I was wondering if anyone on here has tried it out.
Here is the link to RTI's website:

It looks like it was developed for the forest industry but I'm hoping it could be of benefit to us. I know I could use some help combating gohpers.
I'd like to hear more information or results if anyone has used it.

I was thinking that if a pumpkin patch was surrounded by plants rodents didn't like the pumpkins may benifit.
Has any one used it?
Its been used to plant a few million trees. Dr Linderman has used it on Hosta with good results. RTI has not officialy tested it on other kinds of plants.

I had a deer problem. I heard if you put soap on a stick around your plant. I have 8 bars of soap around my plant. This will keep the deer away. I have done this last two years. It worked. No deer.
