Here I thought pollinating a couple more late pumpkins would be a cinch seeing how easy it was early this season. Now, it comes down to flawed timing of the males. Also, I have an over abundance of these dang beetles who probably ate all the pollin on the one single male I had available to pollinate my femle who opened this morning. The male spent the night in the fridge. I have not had any signs of bacteria wilt all year, and these suckers have been around for a while. But they are pretty numerous now and when I went to pick the male for preservation, there were about 10 of these having some sorta party in the flower. Fingers crossed, but I will be surprised if this one "takes"

I have used seven. You need to be careful not to dust it when the leaves are damp. I think that burnt my leaves a little bit.
