I have a pretty good pumpkin going on a 1161 Rodonis at day 35 that looks like a miniature 1446 Eaton pumpkin. It has that big bottom half to it with a nice little lean towards the top half that leans back towards the stem end.
There was a article on Al's 1446 Eaton pumpkin that I cant find that Al explained how he measured his misshapen world record back in 2004, and he came pretty close to measuring what it actually weighed on the scales.
Does anyone remember how he measured the CC on his pumpkin?,, Would you still measure the biggest part parallel to the ground even if it is below the blossom end a bit, or would you just measure stem to blossom parallel to the ground even though its not the widest area? How ever he measured his, he came real close to measuring it to what it weighed, and thats how I want to measure mine, so Im wondering if anyone knew how he did his?
