Frank, Tina, I seen where you had some bad luck on a plant with the white foaming stump and had a question for ya. Did that white foamy crap have a odor to it?,, I had a stump have some clear sticky type liquid that was coming out of mine, not alot of stuff like your picture shows, but it was noticable after we had a 2 day rain. The sap looked exactly like the sap that comes out of a blossom end or stem end of a pumpkin when its growing to fast, . And since yesterday, my stump hsnt shown any more sign of leaking . So what Im trying to find out is what did your white foam look like starting out?,, did it start out clear then turn white? So far my stump is now looking normal with no sign of trouble(knock on wood), but I do have to admit, it does have me worried a bit because I have never had a stump do this before.

Our 985 had a clear sap oozing out of an area very close to the stump,,not long after that it was rotting. The 1255 stump had a very specific odor to it yes. Hard to discribe. Dont wonna worry you but i,d keep a close eye on it.

Thanks Frank, it does worry me,lol, but the only thing good going for it is that its not doing it any more, there wasn't alot of sap(almost watery) coming out but a few drips here and there, and I'm hoping that it is nothing since it isn't doing it anymore,,,, but yet still in the back of my mind I dont have a good feeling about it,,lol
