here in west pa it has been cool and rainy. my question is, is it normal for the pumpkins to grow real slow with cooler weather, night temps 50-60?

Yes, My numbers are lower than any year I have grown. Not a great summer at my location in Dillsburg. We had some nights in the high 40s. Just keep them going- it should turn around.

can you guys appreciate a "here we go steelers" cry from southcentral pa? I dont have numbers to compare to and i am using gurney's seed, but it is cooler this year than last year. the rain is patchy--an inch 5 miles west yesterday and a few drops here, nothing else to speak of since the end of last week. i am trying to watch the buccos right now, but how many days til training camp??
