Unbelievable!!! I would never have guessed it would survive what I did to her. I may not end up with something that would make any of you proud, but i'm happy as heck to get anything. I have a love relationship with her. It has grown 5 inches since surgery a couple of days ago. I realize that you can never give up ...unless you're hit like Arvadaboy. I cannot get his images out of my head.

Congrats Pumpkinator. You never know. Measured my pumpkin this morning and to my amazement it had grown 3 inches after the storm. Not sure if it will keep going but maybe I'll get some seeds from her after all.

That's GREAT news Arvadaboy!! I wish you luck on that, it would give a little meaning to your efforts. These things certainly don't want to die, but they DO want a little TLC.
