How to growers get ther pumpkins to grow 30 40 50 lbs a day? Mine is at day 24 and is growing 20 lbs a day. The plant I have is capable of growing that much I think. It has been in the 50's at night recently does it have to be 65-70 degrees at night to get that type of growth?

Im really proud of it though Im not trying to make 20 lbs a day seem small 20 lbs is a pretty decent daily gain.

We need those warm nights for that growth Nic. Just before sunset on the nights it is going to be below 60 go out & cover your pumpkin up " tuck it in" to help keep the pumpkin a steady temp. That should help you out a little.

usually the big gains come after the pumpkins reach 30 days or so then you will have to hold on for the ride
