Today Rodger Holmes and Doug Heathman of Liberal KS drove down with their better halves; to visit and tromp about in my weedy muddy bog. They even wore the 'fetching' patch shoes provided in great form, bet that picture shows up after Rodger and Anita get back from NM.

I'm really honored both of them came down, and Doug drove back after! I wish we could have done more lunch and time.

I'm feeling like such a yutz right now as I type, I got so wound that I forgot to show off the brewer! Just having someone else who knows what it's like to grow standing in my patch, priceless!

Hubby informed me, we will be coming up someday and will give you warning. Thank you again for making the trip!

OkieGal, I Really enjoyed seeing your patch and appreciate you showing us around . That Is the first patch other than mine and Rogers that I have seen. When you live out in this part of the world you have to do some miles to see another patch, 200 round trip. Also we got a close up of Brown Recluse and Black Widow Spider before their untimely demise. Looks like a good year for you if the weather etc cooperates. Good luck and thanks again .

Yeah, well I am more than glad you made the trip, just wanted to show you so you could vouch, I am not making this stuff up.... Sandbags are not my style, hee. I am still so bummed I spaced off the brewer on the other side of the garage. !

I do so want to get up your way soonest. The second patch we visited, is next to our weighoff site as well. Talk about spacing yesterday--didn't mention...

As for that demise, it wasn't untimely. The rule is 'if I don't see you you can live' for arachnids. They got seen.
