I few years back I used what was called a, "Pumpkin Pacer 1000" chart. The chart had daily minimum goals to reach at certain days so you knew if you were on pace to reach a 1,000lb pumpkin in the end. I can't remember where I got the chart. Anyone know where I can get this chart or one like it? I would love to get one again so I don't have to reinvent it.

The ott charts are helpful and are there blank charts to keep track of pumpkin weights out there?

we make our own charts. all you need is set up one sheet per pumpkin
at the top of sheet? female number - male pollinator - pollination date - number of lobes - distance down from base
then leave a line across the sheet for each date you plan on measuring ( we measure one a week on sundays -no peeking-lol )
you record weekly the date-ott measurements -charted estimate- subtract last sundays est weight from this weeks est weight and divide the weekly weight gain by seven for your daily weight gain est.
i also leave a bit of room to note any weather, commentary ,etc, for future reference.
if you measure every day all you do is ride the roller coaster of emotions. one day its wow, next day its oh no. etc.

Thanks pap...sounds good. Once a week measuring sounds perfect. I'll start today.

Creekside (Kristine?) I emailed you an excel version of a growing chart that I've been using for a few years.
It requires measurements every 2 days and also includes the OTT and Circ. charts.
