I should have dug out that one borer I could not find, just like you told me to. The plant is still growing okay, but not as fast as I had hoped. After another night of just 2" growth, I decided to open back up the surgical incision I made and inspect farther. Yes, there he was..still alive despite my pokes with a needle and the flush of insecticide. He had turned around apparently and was an easy catch. Thanks for pointing ME in the right direction, had I let it go, it would have ended it for me. I think i'm okay right now, but it's not over until the "FAT PUMPKIN" sings!!!!

I forgot to mention, i'm interested in joining and will do so if I make the picnic, later if I don't get the chance. I'm expecting some info in the mail from Alan soon.

Brook, I cannot thank you enough for inspiring me to go back and get that sucker, just 3 hours later and it has grown an entire inch!!! I hope she doesn't burst tonight!
