A special thanks to all of you who have offered your support through this trying time. I guess i'm addicted now that i've become emotional about it! There is a message in here somewhere for me. I am facing my fifth shoulder surgery in 3 years, but before that happens..I have to have my gallbladder removed next Friday. A couple other surgeries in-between the shoulder surgeries and it will make 8 times under anethesia for me in that 3 year span. I enjoy my sleep, but only when i'm in control of it. The lesson here? Maybe i'll be okay afterall, i've been seriously dreading the comming 2.

Chin up, and a sense of humor. I've had my share of under the knife. You'll make it, as long as someone will keep an eye on your patch for you... don't worry. A few less parts and a few more scars... CHARACTER. It gives you character. :) Speedy recovery, heal well.

I really believe sometimes the mental part is more important than the physical part of recovery. Keep your spirits up and you'll do fine. Dream of big pumpkins and just remember the Bengals can't be any worse than last year ;-)

Thanks for the support on both ends. Tremor, I can tell you have shared some of my experience. The mental part is HUGE, that's if you don't lose every bit of mental capacity that you have from the pain before then. Okiegal, you are right also, sense of humor, laughter IS the best medicine, just like readers digest taught us growing up.

My hospital (warped) version of sense of humor is legendary-I'm benign but it can be fun. As for the mindgames for pain, I think I know them all. No fun there, may you have as little of that as possible and heal up fast.
