I went out to into my patch today to place my SVB trap I had just got in the mail. Sure enough, I see leaves drooping for the first time of the year. So I started to check the vines, and it pretty sure it was just a kink in the vine, it looked like it had healed over and seemed ok. Then I started to check the leaves just to be safe and this is what I found under a leave.

I think I have the same thing, they look like sesame seeds only round.

Yes Squash Vine Borer eggs, know them well. I haven't seen any yet, but have seen the moths flying around.

They are not SVB eggs they are squash bug eggs. Slightly less lethal to your plant but still need to be eradicated.

Ok, I also saw a squash bug too in my search for more eggs, I didnt know if it would harm my plant, but I knew it wasnt going to help so I squashed him. What kind of damage can they do? Also I got home from work today and checked my SVB trap, and it already caught one.

The squash bug can be a transmit yellow vine decline disease to your plant. I think I had a plant infected with this two years ago. Trust me you don't want this to happen to any of your plants.

Squash bug eggs for sure, get rid of them and start spraying. If you spray you will see them run to the top of the leaf, they like to hide.
