I have noticed roots coming out of the top of the main vine at the leaf nodes. I know the grow on the bottom of the vine but this year they are also growing on the top of the vine. They are about 2-3"long, I know I should treat with some myco and bury, but just how much dirt can I put on top of the main vine? Any advise or help. Thanks Croley

I have had this too. I think it happens nataraully after you bury the vine.

This is one of the reasons we bury vines, to encourage this extra root. Put a shovel-full of dirt at each leaf node. Burying the vine like this also keeps them from blowing in the wind too much when younger.

Peep, I'm sure you got as much rain as I did yesterday so you might want to check your plants out. The heavy rain will wash some of that top dirt off exposing the roots & that is a great opportunity to apply some more mycro & boost those roots even bigger.

Huff, I never received a drop of that rain like I was suppose to, weather said 80% chance that day with scattered thunder storms, I didnt get nether. I live pretty close to 1-70 and it stayed just on one side of it. Im needing a good rain, its been a while.
