Hi everyone. Diseases are all ready out of control because of prefect weather for them we've been having in most parts of the country. So, I've been doing a lot of research and was stunned when I stumbled on one reason Neptune's Harvest might be so for AGs. They use phosphuric acid to preverse their fish fert and it's acts like a disease control, even for Phytophthora.
Early on, Holland reported his success in using high P fertilizers. Whereas in organic growing, the opposite is advised, P higher than 2% tends to be hard on beneficial soil mircobes. Obviously, the disease ones too.
My season's pretty much done, but I thought I would post the above for the benefit of those growers still holding on. It's not hard to predict we're going to be spanked by PM early and like never before at the rate this season is going.

Perhaps the Lactic acid in milk has the same effect on PM ?

I've had my ups and downs this season. I still plan on getting some great crosses.
