well this yr hasnt been as great as i had hoped. infact getting one over 300 pounds may be hard
so what i propose is a contest for those who know they wont place at a wigh off.
To enter its free except u will need to buy some alcohol or something u really like to drink.
when u get your weights weighed thats good enough. I will have a date when we can get on chat and toast to all those who entered this everyones a winner contest.
Just buy some of your favorit drinks. and when i set the date for the chat. show up and drink your drink and that is your prize. Some weigh offs charge to enter like jared's in littleton. so this one kind of does but u get it back as a prize. everyone is a winner.
whatt do u think? For those of us who are growing not to win but just to have fun and grow. captain

IT could also be a tradition to honor all of those growers who are no longer here.

Come to Boise City Oct 17th, we might have trouble filling those 20 slots.
Right now I'm still filling that prize bucket, dang it. At least you'd get a ribbon... (I have faith, last year it was a to the wire too).

We are the southernmost weighoff in continental US except I think one in South Carolina that is Oct 3.
We are logging entries 8 am to 1, then firing up the scale. October 17th... Once you get to town it's easy to find things and we will have signs :) Just trying to fill that prize bucket! We are a 300 level weighoff so all the ribbons, plaques, and other goodies.

I do have a place in BrokenArrow OK where I can weight it if I have to. My closest GPC WO site is 183 miles away.

I can't help it if we're up here in the end of the known universe at the other end of the state... plus we wanted to be a season ender weighoff. You are closer to the civilized world than here is, I can understand you having a 3 hour drive to something up that way. We do have some in the 5-10 hour drive range here, but. Helped set some in another patch this morning, so pumpkin growing is going on here!
