this year was the first time we ever had seeds in the bloossom, we pollinated it just like any other, and it ended up takeing, I honesty think when you get seeds in the bloom it is because of bad weather, to hot. to cold, to wet, that is my theory.

I agree 100% on weather / stress.

They can and will take. I watched one last year go perfect shape / color with the nastiest seeds / lobes I've seen. Plant went down mid Aug otherwise I suspect the fruit would have finished flawlessly and competitively.

lost a seeded one to blossom end split last year, i'll avoid them from now on if they look that bad.

Thad's 1528 had seeds in the blossom. Wasn't his first choice to pollinate but it was pollinated as a backup. Obviously it isn't ideal to have seeds in the blossom but it seems to work out sometimes.

Oddly enough....Even many of the females on the secondary too have seedZ in the blossom....only on two plants....I have found a few normal blossoms too.....Interesting on what may cause these.....we have had extra rain consistently.....Looks like one took.....the other perhaps not....time will tell......

Thanks
