Please help. I have two leaf issues that I really could use help on. Check out the following diary.
http://bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryView.asp?season=2009&grower=39355&action=L
The top problem is new this year and seems to affect the newer leaves around the edge of the vine. The bottom problem I have had a couple of years and usually hits older leaves nearer the stump.
I seem to be keeping the yellow spots under control fairly well with alternating Compass and BannerMaxx.
I would appreciate any thoughts and recommendations. I don't want to lose a season to these problems. Thanks.

The first (Top) problen affecting mostly newer leaves is sunburn of the leaves. When the weather is hot, leaves will get sunburned on thier edges and what you see there is the result. Misting on a timmer is the best way to control this. At the very least, put some sort of shade over the tip of the main vine or you will lose it.
The second problem, I think, looks like aphids or mites. Take sheet of white papper, hold it underneath a affected leaf and tap it several times. Then look to see if you see tiny black or green specs running around on the paper. A spray of Sevin, late in the evening works well for me to control these.

The first problem looks like a little too much sun. You might want to try shading some of the newer growth (especially the tip of the main) on warmer sunny days. The second problem looks like an insect (not sure what might be in your area) has been chewing on the leaf, perhaps on the bottom side. Might need some insecticides to go along with the fungicides?

Thanks Alex. I googled angular leaf spot and it fits perfectly. It apparently is a tough one to treat, but at least I learned to avoid overhead watering (except when it is really hot top prevent leaf burn) so I'll have to back off on foliar feeding.

I think Joe P. is right on this one, I have the same showing on one of my plants and it is from Cuke Beetles on the larger holes.
