My plant is only about 4 feet long and a deer bit off my main tip. Will the pumpking grow out or is it done?

hi, I have had deer trim my main vine in the past, you can train a secondary vine to replace the main. It will slow the plant down some but you still should have pumpkins. If you are in need of a deer repellent try "Liquid Fence" it has successfully helped me. Good luck to you :)

Time for a nice game dinner. I'm sure there are good venison recipes on the recipe board.

I'm with Tremor. A bullet is cheaper than a bottle of liquid fence!

hmmm. . . not to sure that would be the most cost effective result for me....i would need more than one bullet, my aim is bad,and I have had a herd of 18 deer here at one time. Not to mention the fine id have attached for firing inside of city limits,LOL :P

maybe a 5 amp 50,000 volt electric fence?
Sure its costly, but the deer will never forget it.
