Is there any way you can control which side of the vine the pumpkin will grow on, I have limited space.

No. The vine decides which side the female is going to come out on, though usually they alternate down the vine. So if you have one to the right and need it to the left, look to the next one it shows... You can also readjust the vine a little when you curve it, to help IF it is the one after the 'perfect place but wrong side' to put it where you need. Rolling the vine over doesn't work, it gives you more problems than it's worth....

yup, mine are alternating sides down the main vine.

i start doing S curves after the first females vine spot has layed on the ground, then starting curving the vine back to give the next female good angle.

I did'nt know that, but come to think of it, they are alternating side to side.

I dont believe alternating is a standard......Mine are not......unless they are successive...which is not usually the case, it would need to be every third node in that case...

....Brooks haZ seeds that are left oriented and right oriented......

Can't change it but as pointed out you can read it & adapt.

I've had it switched unintentionally when the wind rolled the vines over. That'll put female on the other side.

I think managing the vines as Jeremy pointed out is probably a better suggestion.
