Yep!!! A 1200#er will flatten it out!!! Great answer, Unka!!! or try rolling it out on the ground curved side down!!! Heat will prbly take the curve out of it. Weights on all 4 sides will help (bricks). Peace, Wayne

I second Andy's vote! You might also try spreading some sand on it as well.

Before have to put it under a pumpkin, find a place that gets pretty warm and roll it out then lay a sheet of plywood over it and leave it sit for 3 or 4 days. It should flatten out that way. If you don't have a piece of plywood, go down to your weight set(which you should not have time to use this summer due to patch maintenance schedules) and get some decent size weights and roll out the fabric then place the weights around the outside in the same warm place as the plywood technique
If these ideas do not work, go to your local paving contractor and see if he can hit it with the roller for you!

What kind of whimpy mill fabric is that? Our stuff is so stiff, we can't hardy roll it up! :)

the thin stuff is from the wet end of the paper machine called the wire section....the thicker stuff is from the dryer section of the paper machine....the stock is very thin at the wet end so the wires there have to be thinner and lighter to allow for the large amounts of water through before hitting the press section.....

steam roller. Kind of expensive to rent, very bad soild compacting, and really hard for your plants to recover when you go over them, but it sure flattens out that mill fabric.

Unroll it upside down so the corners are trying to roll back up. Do this in the sun. Pin the corners down with rocks for a day.

From reading this thread...sorta think it matters where the trees were grown...bricks, rocks, steam rollers, sunshine and a lil weight should fix the prblm...no matter where the trees were grown!!! LOL Peace, Wayne
