My female flowers are starting to open, but no males look even close. It's still early so I'm not too worried, but are there any suggestions for getting male flowers to mature?

Normally it is the other way around. The males come 10 days early to start a pattern for the bee's. A good shot of bloombooster or a water soluble with a high middle number may help.

if this problem continues hopefully you have another grower close that you can get some males from. without males your chances of success are zero

Where are you in the Willamette Valley? There's quite a few growers up and down the valley, from Portland to Salem to Eugene to several points in between.

I'm in Albany, OR. Anybody nearby have some males to potentially share?
Both of my plants in the main patch are having the same problem so I think it must be something I'm doing.
Another plant I have in the front yard may be getting some males soon. I also have some C. maxima squash plants in the veg garden. I may try them as pollinators if nothing else.
