A&W ROOT BEER. If I drink the real stuff I get a gout attack and can't walk for a week. That is if I survive the asthma attack it would give me.

I always wait until I leave the patch and hit the shower, else I'll quit right there and segue into beer drinking :)

Budweiser when I have a hard day of work in the patch. I do love the Guinness aswell, but thats more of an "after the patch and sitting back enjoying your accomplishment" drink.

Coors light in the patch because it is just as they say, "LIGHT". I need to be focused. Mich light on the golf course, because no matter how focused I am there I stil suck! Jim Beam in the house because no matter what I did tht day, a nice glass of beam on ice makes it all feel good!!

friends dont let friends drink coors. newcastle brown ale is the finest beer in all the land...for those seeking refreshment via beverage i suggest Allens coffee brandy. half milk half coffee brandy , lots of ice, toss and enjoy.

No Beer here either but a red Bull or 2 tends to make things go just a little faster.
On another note though if you are referancing the size of your pumpkin and you claim to use a Light beer when in the patch what are you telling your pumpkin? That light is ok?

Not drinking in the patch, but 2 friends and I have beer brewing for about 8 months...We've made an Irish red, Barleywine, Pale Ale, Porter, Lawnmower beer, Summer Ale and IPA's.
We've been averaging about 30 out of 50 in competition, but improving all the time. We keg most of our stuff. Seems you always get something out of making a batch of beer, not so much growing pumpkins.....

killians red then coors light. my favorite is canadian mist. just took a class on making beer. now i'm looking for some 6 gallon pots to cook in, some carbouys and ingredients. i was told that making your own cost about 1/4 of tailor made.

6/27/2009 6:16:27 AM

BIG24NUT

It is cheaper, but at the same time it is alot of work. You should brew in large batches so that you don't run out before the next batch is done fermenting. I used to brew years ago and made that mistake.
