I have of cucumber beetles, this use my pumpkins for mating.

Yeah I noticed one of those cuke beetles on one of my sunflower's today after I posted here about the SVB. Haven't seen them around for two years in my patch. Warrior was today's menu special for the guests.

Haven't seen any SVB moths yet, but I do have a problem in my garden.
There is a spot on my main vine, that looks rotted with a bunch of yellow wet sawdusty looking mold on it.
Past the rotted spot the whole plant is wilted.

OMG! I have never seen such vine borer devestaion like that last photo, everyone needs to see what not to do!!
