Last year I fixed my double main on June 18th and ended up growing a respectable 820 pounder. What is the most sizeable fruit you have grown from a double main that was fixed? How about not fixed double?

I'm experimenting with that too Rock. I'm letting them go, and so far they are fixing themselves. Just gonna wait it out and see what happens.

Matt Teeter has one on his 1325 Starr and since it is this far without correcting itself, I told him to find the secondary he wants to become the main, and cutt off the double main just past this secondary. Within a week it will become his new main and life will resume its normalcy.
Another question he had was will the pollen be any good if it is from a double main and my answer is definitely yes! So many top fruits come crossed with males from double main plants. It is probably surprising how many actually are out there.

Folks who hate double vines can send us their unwanted 1370 Rose seeds.

I'll let you know in October. The 1005 Mombert had started out double and split at about 3' out. I need to decide which fork to go with and will give it few days.

My 1235 Daletas,(1370 Rose x 1068 Wallace) Started as a double header, I eliminated 1 and the 1 leader seems to be growing a thick flat main. All of the heads of the main and secondaries appear huge and not vining out as fast as my other plants. I'd try flooding to fix the flat vine, but with all the rain we've had I'm apprehensive. I've got a back-up in but I'd like to get a fruit with these genetics.
