Anyone seen any sightings yet?

I haven't seen any yet, but I know the time is getting close, over the past 5 years I log my first sightings and have seen them start to buzz around the patch between the 16th and 25th of June. So get ready, I know the time is getting close.

Must be reading my mind brooks, I must be paranoid cuz I saw some this weekend. Took no chances and did some maintenance spraying in hopes that I am ahead of schedule this year. With the warm up in temps and plants starting to vine out, I'm sure they will be lurking!

Possible sightings here 2nd and 3rd, or a week ahead, but nothing found on detailed exam (we have some borers that are related to SVB that are tree attackers). Sprayed on 9th for arrival of 10th, but none sighted. A few squash beetles seen outside patch (small ones) after the SVB spray. Should nail them too.

Cuc beetles YES
Squash Bugs PROBABLY
SVB Not yet

Good idea Shannon. Tracking phenology events is the best bet most years for most pests.
