Anyone have a favorite model they use. I am looking for timers that you can set to the exact minute. Most of the ones at Home Depot are set hourly.
Any help would be appreciated.....Thanks.

I have some from Ace Hardware, you set the time of day to the minute and the start time to the minute.

I have a Melnor that has multiple settings. It's fairly easy to program and has mist settings as well. You can water every day, multiple times in a day, different times on different days and it has a second outlet that is manual, and a setting as well for manual, so you can water outside your programmed times for however many minutes as you want. I don't know the model number off the top of my head, but it cost about $ 45.00 a couple years ago. I got it at a local store Fred Meyer that you probably don't have in your area. I'll get back later about the model name or number.

I use the Melnor 3060. It sounds similar to what Tiller mentioned. It works pretty well for one location.

Ray, Check out the ones I have on my website, you can do exactly that, 8 programmable times including one that is 20 sec mist every 5 mins.

The Orbit 4 valve timer kicks ass. Operates 4 zones independantly 3 times per day each. So I get maximum pressure to each quadrant of my patch during watering. $75 from Dripworks.

Molnat timers can be set by the minute for 6 cycles (the older ones I have). They work well. Dave
