I was thinking about Buddy while out checking my plants in the patch this morning,,,,I'm sure gonna miss seeing him at the seminars and weigh offs, it just wont be the same going to one of these events with out seeing him wearing that big ole cowboy hat and cowboy boots. I'm sure hes got a big ole pumpkin growing in heaven with out question!,,lol
Just wondering how many guys/gals are growing his seed this year or plan to grow one next year?
Out of all the seeds Buddy has grown in the past years, which seeds do you like best that you think will be his best producer to grow that 1700 lber?

We have the 1145 also here ,and it is a very fast grower, really can`t beleave this plant, two weeks behind everything else, and it has caught up!and I just came from Tony Vanderpools house and could`nt beleave the size of his 1145 ,it also has caught up with everything he has planted as well, I`m telling you what an amazing plant,Buddy would be tickled pink to see this plant ,and this is one of the three he really could`nt wait to plant ,Karen is pollinating her 1145 with the 1521 Werner, it also is looking very well,I`m crossing mine with the 1385 Jutras,Good luck with yours B-WE ALL are missing him ,It just dont seem the same without him!

Growing the 1168 here, and it is looking fantastic. Like Rob said, several weeks behind, but caught up with the rest of them!
