Every year, I do a June 1st measurement and compare...post on how you're doing... I did measure tonight and here are the Main Vine Lengths... #1 - 1689 Jutras - 108" #2 - 1272 Brunst - 102" #3 - 1568 Conolly - 99" #4 - 1087 Bhaskaran - 97" #5 - 1161 Rodonis - 95" #6 - 1290 Poirier - 89" #7 - 1385 Jutras - 88" #7 - 985 Werner - 88" #9 - 1566 Rodonis - 87" #10- 904 Stelts - 74" How does it compare? 2005 - 60"/36" 2006 - 95"/72" 2007 - 140"/87" 2008 - 84"/24" 2009 - 108"/74"
2009 ranks at #2! Woohoo! Now just have to dodge some Frosts in MN ;-)

Dave, You're off to a great start....you seem to get good early growth through the years. That's a great line-up you have as well! My vines haven't touched down yet. The plants are starting to kick into gear now it seems. I'm guessing my two best plants have a main of about 18". By my standards this good...as I don't use heating cables, or a heat source in the hoophouse. I think this is close to my best start, similar to 2007, when I grew my 1041 lb. personal best.

uhhhhh.....6-12 inches maybe. I guess I have some catching up to do. I thought they looked fine until I saw this..LOL

Our 1041 and 985 both are at the 132" range and the 1255 is in the 120" range. Plants are at 4 weeks old.
