1102 pukos crapped out as well as my 1392 breznick. I have no idea why. The 1102 had only one cot from the beginning but was still growing. The 1392 was doing fine until this morning. I did my morning check and it was done. Plants going in the ground this Friday or Saturday. I have two more I just put in the chamber this afternoon. Hopefully they sprout soon and I can get them in without losing more time than I already have. The new ones are
1313 bowles 08
1019 horton 08

We'll see what happens!

in the future you may want to start your backup - just in case - oh sh-- plants either at the same time or right after the furst set sprouts.
ps---plants should not die once they have sprouted and the seed leaves are exposed. you might be doing something wrong?

pap, that is a very good possibility! Still learning. The two I put in yesterday are back up, back ups. The other 4 that I planted on 5/4 are doing just fine. I figured since I have room for six plants I may as well have six and guarantee the fact that I will spend even more countless hours in tha patch, turn my hair grey when the weather looks sour or mold and bugs appear and increase the local beer distributors sales for the season!!!

I have several backups that have been popping up the last couple of days. They are from my 834 and my 992 and a couple of other genetic plants. If you feel like taking a ride to Honesdale this weekend I could spare a few. You are only 45 minutes away. [email protected]

Bowles is always a good choice in the patch. My 998 is evidence of that.

Bowels, however, is never a good choice in the pumpkin patch.

Sorry about the typo there to the BP.com spelling B judge, but still a good choice typo mistake or not, I'm sure Dan has been called worse, ain't that right Dan?,,hahaha

Thanks for the offer Ned. I should be good, but then again I thought that in the beginning too. One of these days I will get out to Honesdale to finally get introduced. This weekend I was supposed to go away with the wife, but decided the deal I got from my neighbor was more appealing. I repair the leak in his roof in exchange for about 600 yards of dirt from a construction site he has in Monticello. Not to mention his endless supply of composted duck poo that he delivers me a load when I need. The wife will get over it once the repairs on our property are done thanks to the free dirt.
