I want to send out a big thank you to Greg Kurkowski!!! What a class act guy!! Friday night they were forcasting a low around 38 degrees. I have been busy in the fields and busy with kids and I didnt take proper precautions. Well it dropped below freezing. Opened houses in the morning, and plants were badly froze. I talked to Greg on the phone, and within a few hours he had someone drive all the way from watertown with new plants for me. The plants are not all the way dead(leaves are gone but stem is still standing). Tomorrow(after freezing one day ago) is supossed to be in the upper 80's. If they dont show some growth, Gregs plants are going in. Greg is awsome!! I hope everyone has a "Greg" living near by. Thank you Greg!!!! Kevin

Listen to this one - After losing many up my seeds and plants (from 5/14 below) I must send out A GIANT thanks to Brent Savage and Dave Hancock for a 598 and 535!!plant.They left Oregon 1:30 Friday and arrived here at 1:42 Saturday . We certainly have some fine people as giant pumpkin growers. Thanks also to Joel Holland who sent a replacement 936 (Pukos 998-Holland 1086) which I used to grow my PB of 1119 last year (that Pukos 998 gene rules for me)and to Tom Privitera for offering a replacement1096.
