Hi fellow growers...I soaked my seeds on 4/21, potted on 4/23, and put in the ground on 5/2...had some issues with one of them, so I pulled it. When I did, I noticed a very limited root system....Could that have had something to do with my starting medium., which was as follows: 3B mix, some kelp meal, humus, micco, and a little water? I began my plants before some of our area growers and I am behind....will these struggling plants every catch up? SOme of them I am on the 3rd true leaf stage (leaves are smaller than other area growers)....What is the prognosis and eventual fate of these plants? I hope they catch up, as they are great seed choices....Thanks, Rooster

in new hampshire anythings possible. your nights are colder than in ri and your skills compaired toi those other growers you mentioned ? could also come into play.\ (they may heat at night or have inground heating cables ,etc?) if your seedlings are healthy, and the plants dont get shocked to much from extreme graduations from hot to cold back to hot? they should catch up fine. i never worry about who has a few more leaves that me at this stage of the hunt. if the plants are health and the soil is healthu? your in the game. suggest you call bill rodonis or jim kuhn. both excellent nh growers. pap
