Our soils test shows high sulfur. (198ppm) Where might that come from? Is that of concern?

Did you apply gypsum? Did you try to lower your pH with elemental sulfur? It could also come from ferts or even the water you use. You shouldn't have any problems. I've grown in soil that tested over 1000ppm just prior to planting and had no problems. By the way, sulfur leaches quickly from the soil assuming your water isn't loaded with sulfur. (you would smell it or taste it if it is)

I did apply gypsum but no elemental sulfur. The sulfur readings have been high in past years but I didn't know what caused it. Our pumpkins grew fine and our water smells fine.,,,but I'm glad you said it looks ok. Thanks for the help!

Creek, I'd say your sulfur is coming from the gypsum. The gypsum I apply has 16% sulfur.
