Karen Has asked, me to post this for her cause ,she does`nt have a computer,Karen asked me if the pumpkin growers would do Buddy a last wish, and favor for her,to Honor Buddy-Buddys wish was to get one of his seeds proven, for the sake of the clubs he has been so long a memeber of,Buddy was all about helping our club much as he could ,weather it was helping set up or help raise money for the club, buddy had three great seeds from last year ,they are the 1245conley -1113-and a 1168,all 08 seeds She would like to have us grow any one of these seeds and get them proven,Buddy had just planted these seeds in the garden the day before he passed,I dont think this is to much to ask, this is every pumpkin growers wish,He`s done so much for for the fellow man,If you would like to grow one in Buddy Honor-plaese post your name and what seed you`ll grow-after I get enough committed I will print this post and give it to Karen- Thanks for taking the time to read this post -if you need a seed we`ll get one to you so contact Tony Vanderpool at [email protected]

Count me in Buddy gave me one of his 1145 08 at niagara. I had added some room to my patch so it would be a honor to help. I will be planting it for the southern ohio weight off. Dwight

I'm in here, I would love to grow the 1113 Conley.....my birthday is Nov 13th...so this would be my honor. What a great idea you have come up with Karen, this is a great way to honor Buddy. My thoughts and prayers are with you tonight. Being part of this community ensures you have prayers from around the world, by people who share common interests and hobbies. I have also been dealing with the loss of two friends this year and have taken on a bit of a different look at life......Grow em big while you can.... Bryan

I would gladly grow any of Buddy and Karen's seeds. I have a 1177 in a pot now, waiting for it to germ. I would love to win the blue ribbon at the Delaware County Fair with one of his seeds, it's place he loved...Home of the Little Brown Jug. ( Actually I did win with the 1177 two years ago and Buddy and Karen got to see the Pumpkin, even if it was only about 400 pounds, I was so proud!!) And a place where Mondo raced! I am just heartbroken by this news. Love and Prayers.... Chriss and John

Karen, heartfelt condolences for your loss. It is a tremendous loss for Circleville and our whole pumpkin growing family. Our patch was full, but we will pull our own seeds and grow Buddy's. Here's wishing someone grows a world record for him! Buddy will be greatly missed!
