I say if USA Weedkend doesn't give some prominence to some of our growers we start a strike. Any other giant vegetable vegetable is a joke compared to giant pumpkins and giant pumpkin growers are the best people in the world.

The difference between giant pumpkins and other giant vegetables is that many more people are involved in growing giant pumpkins. You are much more likely to see improvements in giant pumpkins because of the large number of people involved. Where as other giant vegetables have few people growing them and many times there is no "community" for them. I wouldn't say that other giant vegetables are a joke. I've personally always loved giant vegetables that other people don't grow. There aren't a whole lot of people out there looking to grow giant millet other than me. Doesn't mean that giant millet is a joke. It just means there isn't a lot of people out there growing it.
