This is my first year using the stuff and i only have a 1 lb. bag. I heard you can get away with a lot less than they say on holland's site. I thin kI heard 1/4 tsp. or something at each leaf node or something like that. How much should i use?

3 handfuls per 5 gallon pail of starting mix... sprinkle in planting hole... goodly pinch at each node you bury. I've heard as light as 1/2 pound per plant, but 2-3 pounds per plant is the consensus of several. I'm well on the way towards 3# per plant, but. You can order more later in the season (which I'm about to do, running low on my first 5#)
I used in pot, in hole, and when I put in heat cables I broadcast a few handfuls at the cable level... hence I might go more than my planned 2# per plant.
Not cheap but I think I can see difference already and *worth* the investment... Tom has RTI myco by the # at his store (upper right click ad in chat), 5# with ship isn't bad $ wise and will go a ways at the start.

Dan McKie grew there 1631.5 using very little. I would divide your 1 lb. among how many plants you got and use very little. Last year I used 1/4 teaspoon at each leave nobe and I was shocked at the masssive root system of roots I had when i pulled my plants in the fall. If you do a web search, 10 lbs. will do a acre. Anymore then that is a waste. www.mycorrhizae.com/index.php?cid=60
