Great idea on using the plastic sandwich bags on the peat pots JVincent!! ,this will help me keep my pots and soil wetter a little longer from drying out to quick.

Brooks, be careful and keep a close eye on your pots. With the excees moisure and heat, it could possibly lead to moldy pots. I guess I don't need to tell you how I found this out, do I?

they work great brooks. been using sandwich bags for years over each individual pot along with a tall clear plastic humidity dome over a black plastic garden tray. propigation mat under a rack with the the tray on the rack and a themostatic sensor placed into one of the peat pots at seed level and then put the dome on. set thermostat for 85 degrees. bam. they key is the moisture in the mix. it can't be too wet.
