A Beta version of the Second Annual GVGO Grower's Pool is now posted on the GVGO web site. This is a free pool for GVGO members only. Please notify me if the list needs to be amended in any way (best weight wrong, grower not growing this year,or if your a GVGO member that wants to be deleted or added to the entry form or even a spelling mistake). An offical form will be posted by next week. Thanks for your help.

You just pick growers in each weight bracket(determined by the growers personal best weight). At the end of the weigh off season I total up the weights of the heaviest leagally weighed pumpkins that each GVGO member picked on their roster. (eg.if a grower you picked weighs in a 1200 lbs. pumpkin you get 1200 pts.) Last year our winner (Bob Mackenzie) had an incredible total of 20,074 lbs./pts. with his 20 picks. Basically you're picking the growers you think will have a good year this year. A little research and a whole lot of luck are required to do well. I should have a final roster done this weekend with all the rules. This free pool is open to any GVGO member and prizes are awarded to the top 3 point getters.
