Toes crossed for them, I went to college there... the Red could ROAR in the spring... remember a good word for Moorhead MN too. They are one big burg separated by that river.

Don't forget those to the south that already had to be rescued, and those north that are yet to see all that water.

I was going to make a comment last night about how We could help sandbagging but not knowing how serious it is, it might not be appropriate. I hope those folks get through this without too much damage to their properties.

Recent update, they evacuated a neighborhood and a nursing home because an earthen levee developed cracks.

I dont know something tells me that builder's shoudnt have put houses in a valley/ flood plain area that is prone to flooding.

When they have record floods all bets are off... they broke their all time high set in 1897... and they're hoping to have crest nearing soon. I agree about maybe needing more altitude but. They revised crest upwards twice in a week.
