"White nitrogen". What an interesting term, I wonder how much N you can get from it?
Actually at two feet in March, maybe you could call it "white manure", because like, what a load of ...
Hang in there! Perhaps you can draw comfort from the fact that spring arrived last week, and the glaciers are shrinking what with all the global warming an' all.

Anything that gets government offices to close works for me. We haven't been hit quite as hard down south yet. It seems we get protection from Pikes Peak and the Palmer divide here on the west side of the Springs.

Shaker beat me to it! I was gonna say that anything that closes down a Goverment Office is a good thing! I look forward to Gary hitting a new personal best with all that help he is getting from the White Nitrogen!

We're braced, looked at radar at 5pm central, it's aimed right for us. Looks socked and dumped on already from Centennial to Pueblo... and aimed for us.
Shaker, you sure the Peak split it? It looks like it's curling along the front range not dropping over the mountain line... and the cold air is pushing the rain to snow line right ahead of it. It's currently 55, sunny, and nice, and a sort of dark grey pall to the NW.
I got the fireplace ready and the lamps ready and the matches where I can find them. Glad my vines are still in the seed at the moment!
Deb aka OkieGal in the end of the Panhandle waiting for the great Colorado White Express to squat on us and dump. [MOISTURE, bring it on!]

About 7:30 pm CDT, it arrived. Rain. It showed on radar about 30 min before we were getting moisture but I was outside and very dry, battening hatches.
The ice/mix line is about at the NW corner of the county and creeping on us. I guess I will get some excellent data on if my setups are going to hold against cold and icy-icky weather.

8:30 pm, snow. Vatloads of fine flakes. At 11, we had at least three inches and still coming down.

Still going strong here; pelting white, blowing snow, everybody with a brain is staying inside today. One of my designated chores here IS shovelling snow, I had to get up and find out if school was closed (it is) in case I had to shovel sidewalk to carport then driveway to street or not.
My hoops are still up and weathered the night fine, tonight will be the cold bit, to see if I can relax about planting out as they will stay nice and warm enough. I'd like to know where those 80f plus days went and hid, heh.
People wondered why I was worried about heat tapes and heat bulbs? This is why..... Looks like hours of snow yet swirling up from Clovis NM..... Okay, cookie baking time!
May Fargo and everyone north of there be safe (*that* Red River flows north) and south where it's already sogged through.

Moisture. We need it. By poor dog who had to wade to finally GO (and the softie that shovelled a spot so she could) 10" on level, still coming down and wind is gusting. Weird, wind is from north, clouds are coming from the south according to radar.
UPS had some packages coming our way, they went onto the truck for delivery then they had an 'exception' aka weather, so truck slunk back to base and they'll schedule delivery according to how things look Monday. I'd rather everyone be safe than sorry in this.
Dishwasher is running, when it's done I have enough stuff to do those chocolate chip cookies, if no chocolate monster has eaten all the chips already (him).
Still so glad my vines are still in the seed right now.

15" of wet heavy fine grained snow. It should melt not blow too much. Had to show dog where I dug a path so she could find a place to do duty. This should really kickstart GREEN around here and put my patch in good stead.
How did the rest of the Front Range fare?
