This is the memorial segment that Stephen & I put together for the Tenth Annual Pumpkinfest Giant Vegetable Growers Conference at Niagara. Yes I got to help on this one but I should have left well enough alone. I don't have "the touch" for spacing the frames.

Special thanks to Diane for providing many of the pictures & to Danny for images & the sound track.

Additional images may have come from Alan Nesbitt, Bob Ford & Ray Waterman. I'm sorry the song was too short to fit all of the images into the finished piece. Things were getting tight as it was.

Thanks folks. I tried loading the very large season end summary last night too. It was waaaaayyy too large. The maximum is 10 minutes....the season summary was about 27 minutes.

Actually Jim, Howard's tribute didn't take very long compared to formatting half of the 58 weigh-offs we have. Its actually a good thing we didn't get 100% cooperation from the weigh-offs LOL. It took WEEKS to do half of the sites. The sites that responded late ended up getting jostled in our haste to include them. If you think the power-point programs were a challenge just imagine how bad 400 pictures & 5 songs mesh together...ugh.

I feel horrible that some champions got left out. I also feel bad that some site's names/banners never appeared but if the weigh-off doesn't send the pictures what can we do? I try to locate club logos but most weigh-offs aren't named after a club.....many weigh-offs are hosted by non-growers. A garden center owner doesn't frequent BP so my requests for images go unnoticed....grrrrr.

I'm going to have to provide a tutorial for each weigh-off so they all understand what we need for the presentation. Some send too much, some send too little, others send nothing at all???

My son will help me break the big one into 3 pieces.
