I went to the garden center today to get my components to make my seed starter mix. When I got there, there was a display of Pro-Mix products. I started a conversation with the gentlemen that was running the display. He was Patrick Arnold, from Arnold Sales (consultants to the Horticulture Industry), and a Pro-Mix dealer. After our conversation was done, he offered me a free bag of the Pro-Mix ultimate organic mix. I never tried it, so now I will. The ultimate organic mix is made up of Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss, Sea-based Compost (shrimp shells and seaweed), Limestone, perlite, and Mycorise (endomycorrhizae inoculant). He said it was a great product, that I will be pleased with it. So this thread is a shout out to him, Thanks for the Pro-Mix.

We had a new Mernard's open up this way a few month ago. They carry the Pro-Mix Ultimate Organic mix I have been using BX Pro-Mix for @ 10 years now and have been very happy with it so I decided to give the new product a try.
So far i am very pleased with it, I just wish they would sell it in the larger compressed bales.

BTW, at Mernard's a bag of the new Ultimate organic mix runs 4.99.
A very reasonable price and lower than comparible products.

Mr. D., a few days back...someone posted a link to a Pro-mix locator function...wish I had saved it, but I found my closest source, & then deleted it. Try pro-mix home site and then look for locator??? Hope this helps. Peace, Wayne
