Was watching the SNGPG DVD.
Is there anywhere I can buy a couple of planks to build a pair of those wonderful "Air Jutras" shoes?

Amigatec, even if I feel like I'm aiding the enemy here sometimes <g> (if you can outgrow me then show me :) )
I bought some patch shoes from Amazon, they are ungangly big green 'turf areators' with these big aluminum spikes on the bottom for like $10 then shipping. I don't have the package anymore, just search for them.
You can put about size 18 aircraft carrier shoes/feet on them. My size 8.5 men's are dwarfed by them.

Nope you're bowing to the better grower. LOL

Of course I'll stay off of Don's, Julie's, Joe J's, Quinn's, and all of those fellow's and gal's shadows.
Now then, those are the ones I bought. If you have nothing but clayey gluey slimemud you're gonna bog down in those and stay there; I can guarantee that. If you finally got your patch worked into some nice good rich growing medium; they will work.
You're gonna watch me bring the record home to the Panhandle so just relax. heh.

They're home made out of some light weigh boat industry material, just glued and screwed to an old pair of boots. I would think 1/2" plywood should work just as well. Saves lots of time weeding and spraying give them a try I think you will like them.
