I want to use some myco this year, but I wanna know how to get the most bang for my buck. I only want to buy a pound of the stuff (Endo Plus from Holland's) because the stuff is so expensive. It says on there to use 1-2 tablespoons of the stuff at each leaf node, which I think is ridiculous. I heard though that many people use only a teaspoon or something like that. How should you really apply this stuff?

Sam, the more you use the better HOWEVER you can make a pound or two work..I mean you can stretch it..Just use it when planting your seeds. and put some in the whole at your planting site. Good stuff, you want be sorry...

Thanks, but this still doesn't answer my question. If I buy 1 lb. how much should I put in the planting hole and leaf nodes?

Sam...How many plants do you plan to put in the ground?
I could be wrong, but is suspect that most "heavy hitters" use 5# or more in their patch.

I figure that 5# will get my season started... and I think Tom has it at reasonable...
It depends on how many plants you're going to be growing as well. If budget is really tight get enough to start your season then save some pennies and order more.

you really only need 2# per plant. Thad starr uses only 2# per plant and still grows pumpkins over 1500#.

Yeah, but I need to know how much per leaf node etc. I already know that you can get away with one pound, I just need to know how to utilize it.
